Individual Kiosks
Featuring 6 interactive kiosks, the Mobile Energy Education Experience is able to be set up in a classroom, library, gym or even outside at STEM events, concerts, festivals and more. The kiosk programming features games, activities and videos depending on the audience.
Kiosk Games/Activities
- The Drill Floor: An interactive game that takes you through the drilling process.
- A Day In Your Life: An interactive game that takes students through a typical day and the many ways petroleum is a part of their activities.
- Career Game: An interactive game where students answer three questions about their preferences and are provided with potential jobs they might want to consider in the oil and natural gas industry.
- Flip That Switch: A challenge game that asks questions about energy transition and sheds light on whether or not we can actually flip the switch to renewable sources of energy.
- Petroleum Products: A challenge game where students try to identify which everyday products are made from petroleum and which ones are not.
- Seismic Search: An interactive game where students look for oil in the state of Kansas utilizing seismic sounding and teaches students where in Kansas oil and natural gas are found.
Kiosk Videos
We also utilize a series of videos in place of a game or two to focus the audience in on the point of the presentation. Videos selected for each event can cover:
- How is oil formed?
- How do we find oil?
- How do we recover oil?
- How do we transport oil?
- How do we utilize oil for energy and products?
- What role does oil and natural gas play in the world?
- A selection of our current social videos for public events, festivals or general audiences.
