Through our investment in education, we are training our future energy leaders. Kansas Strong is committed to assisting educators in sharing about the positive impact of the Kansas oil and gas industry on everyday lives. We have developed curriculum and tools to assist Kansas educators in this process.

Mobile Energy Education

While Kansas Strong already has a professional presence, we’ve expanded to a new level in 2014! We launched the Kansas Strong Mobile Energy Education—an educational experience on wheels! With our Mobile Energy Education we are able to transport our dynamic, interactive, powerful message to our community.

Petro Pros

The Petro Pros Educational Program offers free, interactive lessons about the Kansas oil and natural gas industry to students in grades 3-12. Trained professionals from the industry visit classrooms (in-person or virtually) to teach topics like geology, chemistry, seismicity, product development and the practical applications of math and science. The program emphasizes the importance of energy and aligns with Kansas State Department of Education Learning Standards for Science and Social Studies, making it a valuable resource for both students and educators.
